Description

January is a part of our ‘Birth Month’-wrap series being released during 2023 and 2024.

January is the months where the light is slowly starting to return. In the horizon the colors are starting to get more intense yet still covered with the soft winter filter. Nature is still deep into the winter but the light is peeking in. This wrap is inspired by the beautiful deep and and dark colors of the horizon on the Northern hemisphere during the late and dark winter. January is a wrap with a beautiful graduating medley in soft sand melting into shades of rose and pink following subtle soft and dark blue shades. The warp colors are slowly melting into each other creating a mild flow of winter shades. The wrap in two different designs with different weft colors. One is a soft warm rose pink color and the other is a clear blue. The pattern is a crackle weaving with larger areas of plain weave combined with longer flotations giving the wrap a perfect mix of sturdiness and stretch. Through out the warp are placed artistic inlays of handspun organic cotton in different shades and thicknesses. Some inlays are shaped as mountains giving the wrap a beautiful artistic impression. The wrap has a bit more grip than glide, and is perfect for newborns, larger babies and strong enough to be used into toddlerhood.

Please note that the model is wearing the version with blue weft.
