Description

April is a part of our ‘Birth Month’-wrap series being released during 2023 and 2024.

April is the months where nature really starts to regain energy and strength after a long winter hibernation. Trees are slowly starting to bloom and the forest floor is covered with the early spring flowers. This wrap is inspired by the beautiful soft yet intense and bright colors of the spring on the Northern hemisphere. The greens are both soft and mellow, bright and intense at the same time as the chlorophyll is settling in.  April is a wrap with a beautiful graduating medley in light and dark green nuances melting into shades of teal, purple and violet. The warp colors are slowly melting into each other creating a mild flow of  beautiful spring shades.  The pattern is a soft crackle weave with larger areas of plain weave combined with longer flotations, giving the wrap a perfect mix of sturdiness and stretch. The weft colors consist of all the shades of the warp woven in color blocks making the appearance of the wrap constantly change in a beautiful flow of colors.

Through out the warp are placed artistic inlays of handspun organic cotton in different shades and thicknesses. Some inlays are shaped as mountains giving the wrap a beautiful artistic impression. The wrap has a bit more grip than glide, and is perfect for newborns, larger babies and strong enough to be used into toddlerhood.

Please note that each piece is unique.
