May is a part of our ‘Birth Month’-wrap series being released during 2023 and 2024.

May is the months where nature really starts to show us that summer is on the way. Trees and flowers are blooming everywhere and the forest floor is covered with the flowers. This wrap is inspired by the beautiful soft yet intense and bright colors of the early summer on the Northern hemisphere. The light is soft and intense, the greens are bright and flowers are everywhere. May has a warp which consist of a beautiful graduating medley of natural and light nuances melting into shades of soft violet and purple creating a mild flow of soft mellow shades. The pattern is our iconic new twill weaver changing constantly throughout the wrap. The twill pattern gives the wrap a perfect mix of softness, lightness, sturdiness and stretch – the perfect combination! The weft colors consist of endless shades of ‘spring’ woven in color blocks making the appearance of the wrap constantly change in a beautiful flow of colors.
May is filled with artistic details. Through out the warp are placed artistic inlays of handspun organic cotton in different shades and thicknesses. Each piece as several areas of clasp weft in different shades – some inspired by tall tree trunks and others like waves of the ocean. The wrap has a bit more grip than glide, and is perfect for newborns, larger babies and strong enough to be used into toddlerhood.
