February is a part of our Birth-wrap series being released during 2023 and 2024.
February is the months where hints of spring and energy arrives. Nature is still in winter-mode but the light is peeking in. This wrap is inspired by the beautiful deep and and intense colors on the sky during dawn and dusk. February is a wrap with a beautiful graduating medley in warm burned yellow colors melting into shades of violet, purple and deep dark blue shades. The wrap comes in two designs with different weft colors. One is a soft warm earth color and the other is a deep ocean blue. The pattern is a large scale crackle weave with larger areas of plain weave combined with longer flotations, giving the wrap a perfect mix of softness, sturdiness and stretch. Through out the warp are placed artistic inlays of handspun organic cotton in different shades and thicknesses. The inlays at each tail are shaped as mountains giving the wrap a beautiful appearance. The wrap has a bit more grip than glide but feels very soft even at loom state. It is perfect for newborns, larger babies and strong enough to be used into toddlerhood.
Please note that the ring sling has deep ocean blue weft.
